My son's girlfriend is Native, and she found it offensive. I think they could have been more African based, say put Masai in the jungle, or something. Great movie, though !

Patricia McKillip. Her books are magical, with an almost fairytale like quality, but they often have fairies, warlocks, witches, etc. Too, if you like fantasy in general, her books are worth looking at (you can get them at the library) just for the cover art alone.

I am perverse enough that it makes me want to not ever read that author. I don't have a problem with "my favorite" though, and seek them out sometimes, like I think I'll do with the "I am at the library" question.

I have a son who's going there this fall, and am interested for both of us. Too, what's housing like?
