    Besides a scarecrow, what are some good ways to keep animals out of the garden?

    We have lots of crows, squirrels, opossums, raccoons, deer, a bear now and then and who knows what else around our house. I am making a scarecrow, but would like any ideas you can give for ways to keep animals out of the garden. Thanks!

    Why won't tomatoes in my garden get any bigger than golf balls?

    I have planted several different kinds and none of them get nearly as big as they are supposed to. I even put Miracle Gro tomato food on them and nothing has helped.
