sometimes you smell the under coting (anti rust) when it heat up might smell like ammonia I guess after sometime it goes off.good luck

the place who sold them to you should help you... How ever they should slide out and the new one will slide in, make sure the width of the wipe base is the same. At the end they should have a secure clip to avoid them of falling out the arm. good luck mate. p.s they could be tricky sometimes...

could be with a lot of fiddling and modification but wont be the perfect match... good luck mate.
