    How is it useless? It plays apple codec files, windows plays windows codec files. Creating films/photography has much more to it then just the codec you use.

    If it is the same game then yes you can network any computer and play. The only problem you are going to have is with the firewall on windows. The firewall on mac is off by default so unless you turned it on, it should be off.
