    Jagged fin? is my fish ok?

    So I noticed that my fantail fish angel on the right front fin has his/her fin jagged... its not smooth like pearl... Does he/she have a disease?!? fin rot?!?

    Is it ok to unplug my fish tank filter at night, and remember to plug it back...

    ...in the morning? Because my fish tank is RIGHT by my bed.... and I just got a new fish tank but it's SO loud and I can barely go to sleep... I'm just afraid if I turn it off my fish will die. Do you think it's ok to just turn it off for night, and then turn it right when I wake up?
