I recently formatted my laptop, and I backed up all my music and files on an external hard drive but when try and sync my iphone with my laptop now it tells me it will have to erase everything first that will leave me with none of the data on my phone?

I inserted my flash drive into my computer today to look at a file and now I get a popup saying the the drive is not formatted do you want to format the drive? I say no because at least I know it will erase what the drive contains...am I SOL or is there a way to view my files and save them...

I just bought a 2005 ford Taurus se and I asssumed that once I turn off the car the lights will go off but instead I have to turn the knob to the left of the steering wheel to turn them off, otherwise they'll stay on, is there an automatic headlight? How do I use it or turn it on?
