My 1973 chevy c-10 pick up with a 350 turbo trans is leaking trans fluid from the kick down cable, my friend suggested that i should change the the seal does anybody know and can give me a idea on how to change the kick down cable seal? and do i need to drop the pan to do this? please help!!

Does anybody knows or has anybody replaced the exterior door handles on a 1973-1987 c-10 trucks, I my self is restoring a 1973 chevy truck and the guy who's painting it is having a hard time taking the door handles off, once he unscrew the bolts that hold the handle there is a metal rod holding...
