I have a 5 speed 2002 Honda Civic LX with 140K miles. Just recently the shifting became really tight. It is especially hard to go from 1st to 2nd. If I go from 1st to neutral and then to 2nd, it is easier. The other gears are tight too and also better when going to neutral first. It also helps...
