photoshop should come with a short tutorial. go to help and stuff it should teach you the basics but I have never used its tutorial... I figure out everything myself :P it's more fun that way

you can google search "pretty dress" or depending on the style, you can look it up on wikipedia. I would think that clothing sites like Macy's online or something has a lot of dresses on display...
