    Why Does The Car Keep Stalling?

    My boyfriend lets me drive his car (1996 VW Polo) and i put my foot on the clutch then the gas and he says take my foot slowly off the clutch but when i do that it stalls and i dont know why because it takes like 8 seconds for me to take my foot of the clutch so why isnt it working?
