If there is a 100cm3 piece of pottery with 50% porosity which is impregnated with 1g of NaCL, if washed with 400cm3 of purified water, five times, how much salt will still be left in the pottery? If the solubility of NaCL is 36, would not all the salt be removed? What am I missing?
