you know how most neon/LED lights for your car, run through the cigarette lighter??? i want to piss the cigarette lighter off and run the lights straight off a ground mount and a power cable (for example) how would i go about that?

My lifestyle is pretty chaotic... I run around all day in a fast food restraunt where i work anywhere from 10 to 14hrs a day..... in a couple of months I'll be joining the army, and i want to know if there is anything that will help me regain some energy to go for a jog or something after...
