Currently have an unlocked N97 running on Bell... I like many of the features of the N97 but frankly the speed of the phone and hardware issue... not to mention a great lack of 3rd party apps leaves me wanting something different...
I really need something that doesn't lag like my n97...
What I'm leaning towards is that the best Symbian phone would be something like the N95 but with a touch screen (and slimmer), with 3 kb configurations - 12 key, suretype and QWERTY. Given how the software works, and how T9 doesn't always kick in (and therefore suretype wouldn't either)...
What's the advantage of GSM now that Verizon has world phones? My wife just got the Droid 2 Global. Works in every country, glass construction, excellent call quality, blazing fast 1.2 Ghz processor, excellent qwerty! We are on the Verizon 1400 min + 10 F&F + unlimited text/data plan for $140...

If you go back a page you'll see i spoke about widgets in Symbian. What you quoted was my reply to Sivraj's comment on widgets and their importance to some.
Getting Big Boss' face camo is going to be a bitch: Beat the game on the highest difficulty with no deaths, no alerts, no kills, no recovery items, no stealth suit, no bandanna items, in under 5 hours.
Ditto. Warms up, but not uncomfortably so. Same as my Nokia 6620 & my N75.

It's already been too long....I remember the E61i was released like in April sometime....could be wrong, but it seems this was the worst kept secret in mobile history and than the wait time after has been longer than expected.
I would like to return this discussion to the original topic and ask if anyone has tried the extended battery show in post #1? What's the verdict on it? What it a significant increase?
