    what happens when you red line a 95 chevy blazer for less than minute?

    my gas pedal got stuck underneath my driver seat floor mat and redlined my engine for less than a minute until i unstuck the pedal. my engine started smoking and began to leak some type of fluid. is my engine ruined? thanks
