    Can I use birth control with the Pargard IUD to control my cycle?

    I am considering an IUD, the Mirena is a lot more expensive than the Paragard and lasts 5 more years. The only problem is I need the hormones to help control my periods otherwise I have a heavy flow and strong cramps. Is there anyone who has tried this?
