    Timing my 1989 chevy pu 350 auto?

    I unplugged the EST wire ,the idle changed,I think it should,timed it useing an inductive light. when I plugged the EST back in the idle stayed the same. Shouldn't it idle back up? Also with thhe EST plugged in I pointed the light at the mark and it drasticly jumped off the timing mark plate...

    1999 Pontiac Trans Am code P446,what is a common problem with evap vent performance?

    P446 I've replaced the canister purge solenoid and the pressure control valve, checked the vac lines,dropped the tank.Whats left? I can't get the car inspected.
