    Why dosen't Peter Jackson buy the silmarillion rights and add some scens to the

    hobbit movie.? I understand that the hobbit movie will be split into two parts.I was thinking.Since it would be almost impossible to do a whole silmarrilion movie.Why not then just take vital and exciting parts of the story to create a much more interesting LOTR type trilogy.
