So, I don't use a heat protectant of any sort. No gel, no mousse, nothing. Why? Because they leave a residue on my flat iron and that damages it. I find that if I use nothing, then there's no residue left on the iron and it lasts longer....however I know I'm damaging my hair :( anyone else...
