Funny business in the Ovi store.

Erm, $10 for a Twitter application and $10 for a hotspot feature? I wouldn't call that reasonable. Android offers wifi hotspot baked into Froyo, and the Marketplace has a ton of free Twitter applications.

    Nokia n8 release

Well, I don't know about "big", but certainly encouraging. Given it took them about 2 years before offering the N95 8GB, there is an improvement. Of course, they put about ZERO effort in selling that device back then -- let's hope they push this one a bit harder.

    *OFFICIAL THREAD: Nokia N97

Oh the background doesn't rotate? That makes it simpler for me and yet complicated in a way. It's time for me to get cracking on some nHD wallpapers though :)

Go to the GSM buy sell trade forum on hofo, probably your easiest and best shot at selling. If nokia does have a trade in service, they will probably not give you much for it, if anything at all.

New n85 nam firmware is out!

I discovered a bug on my N85-3 v20. The front panel buttons won't light up when I'm nagivating the menu unless I slide the keypad out. If you guys don't have this problem, do you think a hard reset will fix it?

gametrailers.com "GTAIV is proof that PS3 failed graphically over the 360."

Game trailers should stick to just hosting pre-made video game movies as they apparently have no damn idea what the hell they are talking about.

I don't know, maybe the base screen is glass, but the top digitizer part has to be flexible. I don't know how they would do it otherwise. What they need is pressure sensitivity. That would justify a resistive screen.

    Favorite comedy/part-comedy superhero

I liked Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy... including the opening to their TV show being a near-dead on take-off on the 60s Aquaman TV cartoon (being they're Aquaman and Aqualad mixed with Adam-West-Batman and Robin), down to the opening narration ("Mermaid Man.. fleet and forceful!"), the...

    Neurotically Yours Discussion Thread

Again, not trying to stifle opinions, but there is an episode you might wanna check out where JIMathers explains that.

Whats with all these "marathon" blocks?

Whats with all these marathon-type blocks of a certain cartoon lately? I noticed in todays paper that theres a 3 hr marathon of phineas and ferb on disney channel tonight. Thats all fine and well as i happen to be a P&F fan, but whats the purpose? Nick and Cartoon Network are guilty of the same...

    How the Tables Have Turned

You know I've been thinking. The tables have really turned recently for Cartoon Network. I'm mainly talking about the action properties that they once had. Old or new. The tables have really turned for CN (action is what made them very popular, I believe), and now that's just all gone. Let's...

    Cereal Commercial "Cartoony" Animation

One thing that gets on my nerves about those silver age series is the "Mickey Mousing" approach to music. It's that half-baked interpretation of Carl Stalling that The Simpsons made a point out of avoiding.

    Opinions on Happy Tree Friends

The odd thing is, I find I actually like the similar Teen Girl Squad from Homestar Runner. I guess it's mostly because it's more surrealist humor, and, frankly, I think the creators of Monty Python were on the right track when they claimed that the Black Knight scene wouldn't have been as funny...
