    im dying my hair from dark brown to a bright red colour, will this damage my hair?

    i have dark brown hair and i am thinking about dying it a bright red colour like this http://30.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_l8kfyid4nZ1qddr8qo1_500.jpg will this damage my hair? would they have to bleach it ? i have already pretty damaged hair due to i straighten it alot :(
