I have an Iphone 4s and im wondering if its possible to unlock it so that I can use it for ATT. I don't know what the current carrier of the phone is. I read that you can find out if you go to settings and look but the phone wont go past the activation screen that just has the language, country/...

So I was thinking about unlocking my Iphone 3gs. If i were to unlock my phone then buy a telus sim card and set it up would it work? I'm not worried about data either. Thanks!
