I have a honda shadow 1100 sabre (vt1100c2) 2003 model. It idles rough and needs to be choked for about 3mins when first cranked then it clears up. It also crackles and pops when decelerating like a bunch of miniature backfires. I have replaced the spark plugs and ran seafoam carburator cleaner...

I have a suzuki gs 1000 1980 that i just bought and I cant get the freakin thing to idle. If i adjust the idle screw up, when i rev it one time it stays at about 2700 rpm if i adjust it back down it goes down (slowly) then goes dead. I have another one I am restoring and it has the same problem...
