I last saved right before the purifer gets activatd, but didn't know that the game ends there. I can't go out, and still have stuff to do. What can I do other then die?

It's a game on Facebook and I can't make anyhting because I'm always 1 or 2 ingredients short. My friends have them, but when I go to their restaurants and go to the trade thingy and click on what I want, nothing pops up saying what I am willing to offer. I can't get anything. I'm trying foods...
