I'm 17, and over the summer I've discovered ICQ and Omegle. It was entertaining, and interesting to meet people from another part of the world over the internet. It's just bothering me a bit with all those people asking for skype and kik or anything. So...is it alright? To what extent?

I am an UNIX expert (intermediate). I am interested in Android OS platform. Want to learn more about the OS and kernel. I do not want to develop applications for it. But, I want to be able to modify Kernel/create custom OS (like XDA stuff). What should i begin with.(any book/weblinks will help)
