We're doing a debate about conscription in Australia during WWI. I've been put in the 'pro conscription' side and the only points I can think of are :
- for the good of the empire/queen/country
- to help the others troops (the ANZACS)

I guess it means you conform, despite your beliefs or values.
You will do whatever it takes to be "in" and to belong, meaning you will risk friends, opportunities, money etc.
