    Betta Fish and their natural diet?

    Bettas, in the wild, eat insect larvae... basically blood worms. They're carnivores and won't eat plants unless driven by starvation. They also eat shrimp. In your aquarium, however, I suggest betta pellets. I find that flakes are messy and not as good as pellets... just IMO though :)

    Plecos for a 10 gallon, even 20 gallon tank is unreasonable. There are tiny sucker fish sold at petstores that you'll want to buy. Plecos grow to 2 feet long and do best in 80+ gallons :] Even with the sucker fish, you'll have to clean the water. If you get a siphon, remove 25% of the water...

    Our angel fish died about 2 weeks after we added 2 sucker fish. Any idea why they died?

    Okay so I love it how everyone is automatically saying you got a pleco... I had two sucker fish as well and they were teenie little ones, which are the ones I'm guessing you have. My fish also died when I put them in. My guess is that they started eating all of the helpful bacteria and what not...
