I hope Kaneko goes back to directing Kaiju movies soon. He's the only one in the last several decades to get it right to a point thtat the general public takes notice. Maybe the studios think he can do the same with manga adapatations?

You referring to Requiem? That has a couple of heavy drum poundings at the very beginning of both the song and the movie. Or are you talking about Tetsuo, the song that has the choir going,"DAAAH!! DA DA DAH!"

Like everyone else in this topic, Eden of the East. Because it feels so surreal, while in a more real-life setting. Characters are likable, some references here and there. Shin Mazinger is fun. More fun than the original I'd say. But, as GWOtaku said, it ain't for everyone. I haven't seen...
