I have a 98 jeep grand cherokee. It has always run a little over the normal operating temp. I am going to be pulling a trailer soon and i'm sure it will overheat. Can i install a high performance water pump or electric fans or any other bolt on that will help reduce engine temp?

it is probably your oxygen sensor. it could also be your idle control sensor. replace your oxygen sensor first. i bet money that is you problem.
