i mean which parts do i need to replace on a normal singlespeed bike to make it a fixed bike? would it be only the hub ?

i want to buy a full face helmet to ride my bike , and someone sell me a dirt bike helmet... is that also appropriate for bycicle riding? or bicycle full face helmets are different ? (like maybe lighter or with wider vision range...)
