I have a 02 Liberty and after it has been running and warmed up it will idle down to about 500 RPM and then shut off. Oil light comes on, right after it shuts off and nothing else. If I try to start it it runs but then shuts right off when it idles down. I can give it some gas to keep the RPMs...

So here is my dilemma. I am looking at a 2002 Ford Escape XLT. It has 120,000 miles on it and carfax is clean. The Air bag light is flashing and front tires are on the verge of replacing. I did notice when I accelerated it made a "bus like" sound. Is this common in most Escapes? I just need some...
