My DR650SE has had one for 18 months bolted to rear
hand grips and carries about 100 lbs. It and the rear foot
rest pin ports allow addition of weapon case, speleological
equipment, and hand tools. I was curious if anybody else
is able to think outside the box.

Nothing over 450cc. KTM is going to need a lot of service as it is
intended for race performance. Honda is better for runts. Chinese
and machinery from India you'll have ample time to regret. Would

industrial facilities, unoccupied commercial high-rise, or the higher
waterway structures? How many miles of steel tunnel are within
span of the San Francisco Golden Gate Bridge, for example?
Most of the desert has off-road vehicle tracks and sordid debris of previous visitors is hard to escape. My best experiences involved
the coast and high country. Try for a grassy hillside overlooking the sea outside Lucia or up canyon from Jade Cove if parking permits.
