Is it possible to have a contract bounded mobile phone (ex. Verizon) shipped abroad or are contracts exclusive to the country of origin? I would like to purchase a Verizon Samsung Omnia 2, which seems to be cheaper if affiliated with a service provider, then unlock it myself (read it's legal)...

I know a few, but I have only been playing for a little while and would like to learn more. What are your ideas?
