Why can't i send photos FROM THE PHONE TO MY MACBOOK?i can only send from macbook to my phone ? Help someone?

I got an apple mac x os laptop . when i goto the internet (safari) its not full screen,i pressed the green button at the top few times,but it is still not full screen and ive got no clue about mac laptops couse i just got one today and ive never used it before ! help ! Ill pick the best answers...
