So i came upon an ad on craigslist of a seller selling his Nissan Maxima GLE 2003 for 5000 obo... the car has 150k on it and the title is clean... he says he has the pink slip but the car is not registered at the dmv and the car is also not insured so ill have to test drive it around his quiet...

so im buying a used car on criagslist. of course i will go and test drive it myself as well. All i want to know, if its a scam if the sellers cars in not insured nor registered. The guy says he has a pinkslip and everything...is this a scam? will i have a problem since the car is not registered...
