I'm taking a class to learn HTML & CSS. I guess I can make webpages now but I want to continue to another language where I can give pages some more pep. What should I try to learn about now? I don't want to use Dreamweaver to make sites. I would prefer to learn actual code.

Are there any bookstores in New York City that either specialize or have a large selection of books about photography?
