i have a 2000 ford escort zx2 and i brought it to get inspected in Pennsylvania and they guy told me he Had to drive it some to restart the computer and when i got it back he had put about 500 miles on it.... does it really take all that driving to restart the computer?

what kind of manual like a chilton? if so i have been looking for years for these online for free download and haven't had any luck you will probably have to end up paying for one and it would be better to have a book ether way if your going to be working on it yourself
