    does anyone know the timing position on the right cam gear on the ford 4.0 engine?

    this engine has the sohc on it and I would like to rebuild it with out taking it to ford.the cam sprocket is in the rear of the engine.I have it on a engine stand right now.thanks

    I have a 2002 ford explorer sport trac and a professional mechanic changed the

    engine in it,? The question is what would cause it to run great coming home and then get back in it later and it wont start?Now they are telling me it could be the starter,then tell me it could be the security system ,then they tell me it could be the computer.I would like your opinions on...
