I noticed that all kinds of brownish colored stuff was accumulating on my rocks, plants, and decor. It killed my 2 plecos, and one shark. And ALL my snails. What is happening and what do I need to do?
I just filled my 30gal tank with freshwater. Added decor, plants, and some fish. The ammonia level is reading just below the bright yellow. Its more of a dull yellowish tan. What chemical is good to lower the ammonia and keep it at 0?
I filled the tank with freshwater, added the decor and stones, added five live plants, and added fish. The water balances are looking to be very good. The ph balance is a little off but coming right along. So my question is: how long should I expect the bacteria bloom to take?
How long should I wait after I pour all the Bio-Spira into the tank to add fish? I will only be adding one lg Pleco and possibly two Columbian Shark Catfish. Will this be too stressful for these fish?
still put my fish in it? I have my tank filled with freshwater and its doing its normal clouding up and cycling. My question tho is: can I still put my fish in there?
I just got done pouring my stones, arranging my fish tank decor, and filling my tank with freshwater. It is still a little cloudy, so how soon should I condition the water with "stress coat" and "bio-boost"?
