    I am using a 32" lcd tv as my pc monitor, periodically I turn it on and text and...

    ...video is washed out why? Is it the Tv? or do I have bad Video card? If I turn computer on and off it eventually comes up ok. The settings are all where they are suppose to be matching the tv. Could this be the refresh rate? any ideas? Thanks for your help

    Should I set my computer to max resolution that matches a 32" lcd tv I'm using?

    for example if tv only is 720p 1280x1024 should I match the computer settings or is ok to set to max on computer even though TV will not produce pixels? Thanks
