I use OB Tampons. Better for the environment due to less throw away and also easier to use.

First off just remember this is only temporary. Second would be to just give in and try finding new positions. Just take your time and experiement. As long as the doctor hasn't told you to avoid intercourse it's just a game of figuring out what will work for you both.
