If I place a voltage divider on the D+ line to convert 5.0V logic high to 3.3v logic high, will it work? I'm assuming D+ has a voltage > = 5 and D- has a voltage <=-5; Is this correct to assume that the D+ line and D- will never change directions?

I recently installed the OTA 2.2.1 Froyo Update from Google. Ever since the update I can't open up my messages and also when i reboot my phone it says System Process is not responding. My phone will also not receive text messages. Why?

My MyTouch 3g recently got the silent market update. Does this mean that my phone is going to get the official Froyo 2.2 update soon?
