I had a duplicate key made for my 2002 Mitsubishi Galant. It doesn't have the transponder. I only use that key to open the driver's side door and trunk. For the 2nd time in 3 months, something I did after gaining entry to the car has set off a car alarm of honking horn and flashing lights...
