Can i lift my tundra even if it is only 2wd and not 4wd? I wanna lift it 3 inches. can i do it even though its only 2wd?

Looking to buy a used truck and i have 2 vehicles i've narrowed it down to. the 06 f-150 has 55k miles and the 06 tundra has 49k miles. Which one would you choose and why?

How dependable is a 2002 ford f-150 with 79k miles on it? it has a clean carfax record and has been well maintained, but my parents will never buy it if it wont be dependable. I drive 20 miles to school and 20 miles back ( all highway). is this truck depndable enough to handle that?
