When I get a voicemail and dial the "1" key, instead of leading me to my messages, it basically calls my phone and i hear my own voicemail message. it says that the voicemail number is the same number as my phone number. how do i change this so i can listen to my messages? thank you!

i have a blackberry bold 9700 and i am using blackberry desktop manager to sync my music, and it has been plugged in and "syncing" for almost an hour and the progress bar shows nothing. how do i get it to sync? 10 points for best answer!
