    How do you stop overheating in a 1996 Pontiac Grand Prix?

    I have a 1996 Pontiac Grand Prix Special Edition with a 3.6 SFI motor. The problem is it overheats and sends gunk to the radiator. I pull the cap off and it has brown gunk all around the rim. I need to know what is wrong with it and how it can be fixed.
