Growing watermelon for the first time. They look good, but I have no idea how to tell if they are ripe. I know how to pick one out at the grocery store (tapping on it and all that), but these are a small variety, and I don't know how to tell ripeness on the vine. Suggestions? Thanks!

Head down to your local bike shop and have them help you figgur out your right size, and the type of bike you want. You may or may not end up buying it there, but they will give you the service and know-how. Then you'll know what to look around for if you don't buy from there. Course...
