    This was well-written and I fully agree. The time I decide to watch a show or not based on its promo is roughly around the second or third time I see it. Repeating it constantly does not change my mind or brainwash me or whatever they're hoping for.

    Do you like a show better when it features characters around your age?

    Eh, most of the fictional characters that are my age (40) tend to be parents. And since I don't have any kids, I can't exactly relate. Overall, a characters' age doesn't matter to me, it's who they are, how they act and react and how much they entertain me that matters.
