I'm looking for an over-drive pedal that can produce a clean plexi tone like overdrive. Not for heavey metal distored style over-drive, but more of a jazzy-fusion like overdrive. Thick John Scofield and Bill Frissell style tone. I was recomended the Maxon SM-9 (with the drive/gain set low)...
