    A Riddle - What is the longest word in the world?

    My 9 year old son, Adam just gave me this one. Am sure you may have heard it before but I hadn't and thought it was clever. Yep! A few of you got it right. SMILES because there is a mile between the first and last letters.

    Garden membrane/weed suppressant?

    Having just laid garden membrane and covered it with gravel, we have just read the packaging and it says it should be laid shiny side up, which we haven't done. Know it sounds like a silly question but to save us doing the job all over again, has anyone any idea why this is? I can see no reason...
