I'm fascinated by the black paint NASA uses on the inside of their optical equipment, and how much light it absorbs. Anyone know where, how, or what channels I would need to go through to get some, or a suitable consumer analogue? Any information is welcome.

I'm about to embark on a soft circuit project, using LEDs, conductive thread and a removable battery and I was wondering if anyone had any tips or ideas about waterproofing said circuit, Especially the contact points for the battery, and the LEDs themselves. I'm not looking to feed this thing...
